Growing up, I had difficulty managing my skin: I suffered from severe eczema all over my body. The only relief my dermatologist could offer me was glycerin and A+D ointment. They told me I might suffer from my eczema for the rest of my life and that I would have to adjust to living with my condition.

I was discouraged by my diagnosis, but it was a fate I could not accept. I went on a journey to find alternative solutions. I learned about the importance of eating a healthy diet full of natural, whole, minimally processed foods. I also began practicing a skincare routine filled with natural ingredients and minimally processed products. I finally started getting the results I wanted!

One of the famous brands I purchased my skincare products from started using ingredients I am allergic to in their products: Almond oil, coconut oil, shea butter, mango butter, etc. (I have many allergies, including tree nuts!)

I scoured the internet searching for the perfect moisturizer: one with whole and natural ingredients that did not aggravate my allergies or sensitivities. I also wanted this at a reasonable price. Sounds easy, right?

Wrong!!! I decided to create a moisturizer with all-natural ingredients that wouldn't compromise my allergies and sensitivities. Many failed experiments and test batches later, I finally came up with something that worked for me. One day I stepped out of the shower to start my usual moisturizing routine. I realized my jar of body butter was empty!

I hadn't noticed I used my butter consistently over a couple of months. However, I did observe that my skin was as bright, radiant, soft, and hydrated as it's ever been! That's when it hit me: Since it worked so well for me, it might work well for other people like me.

Maybe you're allergic to tree nuts and experience sensitivity to popular ingredients in other popular moisturizers you aren't even aware of, like me. Perhaps you have a hard time managing your skin like I did when I was suffering from severe eczema and dry patches.
